Synopsis

Part 1

Money problems are a leading cause of divorce — Learning how to manage your finances can make you more attractive to the quality person you want to marry and stay married to — High debt and low savings is typical for the average US household — We can free ourselves by paying our tithing and thereby access the powers of heaven — The Lord never promised to make tithe payers inordinately wealthy but to provide for their needs — Our host shares his experiences with tithing — The Lord is working in the background to provide for those who pay tithing — Don’y deny yourself the blessings of paying tithing

Part 2

Tithing helps us to learn the discipline necessary for financial freedom — Lack of discipline leads people into trouble and keeps them there — The self-reliance program of the Church has a class on personal finances that can help people gain control of their finances — Financial freedom does not come overnight — Our host shares his experiences with getting out of debt — The feeling of financial freedom is sweet

Part 3

Confidence is an attractive quality for many people — Financial freedom bolsters confidence and so helps you become more attractive — Feeling debt free is also wonderful in itself — Even people who live paycheck to paycheck can improve their situation when they develop and follow a plan — We have many resources to help us if we’ll just reach out for what we need — The idea is to put yourself in a situation where you don’t have to live on the edge — Jim Rohn, one of the founding fathers of the motivational speaking industry, proposed the 70-30 model for financial success — The Lord will lead us along when we follow Him
